The ELIET overseeder is characterized by the five consecutive operations it performs in a single pass. To guarantee the flawless operation of the drives and components required for each stage, ELIET engineered a robust, heavy-duty steel frame to serve as the machine’s rock-solid foundation.

WORKING WIDTH

The ELIET overseeder features an active working width of 30 inches (750 mm), allowing you to quickly renovate the turf surface on small to medium-sized lawns. Delivering a minimum productivity rate of 10,760 square feet (1,000 m²) per hour, this machine is exceptionally well-suited for large estates, sports fields, and golf courses where excellent maneuverability and minimal ground pressure are prime objectives.

BLADES

On this ELIET machine, the heavy work is performed by the 24 reel blades beneath the chassis. Specially hardened blades cut precise slits into the soil at 1 3/16-inch (30 mm) intervals. Operating in reverse rotation, the blades lift the soil, thatch, moss, and old grass up and out of the lawn. This counter-rotating method guarantees cleaner slits that are perfectly suited for receiving and retaining the new grass seed. For optimal overseeding performance, the blades feature an ideal thickness of 1/8 of an inch (3 mm).

CRUISE CONTROL

You can easily lock in the speed of both rollers to keep it perfectly constant while working. A purpose-fitted lever on the handlebar locks your chosen speed as long as the All-in-one control™ handle remains pressed. The moment you release this handle, the cruise control immediately disengages, and the machine comes to a complete standstill for maximum safety and control.

ELECTRIC HEIGHT OPERATION

Despite the weight of the machine, the operator does not need to exert any physical effort to shift between the working and transport positions. An electric actuator integrated into the All-in-one Control™ handle fully takes over this task. For added safety during transport or shipping, this height control system can be completely deactivated using a dedicated switch on the instrument panel.

COLLECTOR

When the blades cut at an average depth of approximately 1 inch (25 mm), they extract a substantial amount of soil and thatch from the ground. This debris must be cleared immediately so it does not disrupt the seeding process. The machine neatly discharges all of this material to the side, where a deflector cap neatly organizes the mixture of soil, moss, thatch, and grass into a clean row for quick and easy cleanup.

SEED HOPPER

The large seed hopper holds up to 1.3 bushels (46 liters or approximately 26 lbs) of grass seed. Because the ELIET overseeder is engineered for high-precision sowing with minimal waste, it naturally requires less seed. The exact seeding rate can be accurately adjusted using an integrated calibration table.

Inside the hopper, a specialized agitator ensures a continuous, steady seed flow while the machine is in motion. This constant movement also prevents settling, maintaining a perfectly uniform mix of different seed varieties. To completely eliminate seed waste, the machine features an automatic shut-off system that seals the hopper the moment the unit is raised into its transport position.

ACCURATE SEED DELIVERY RATE ADJUSTMENT

Seed manufacturers offer an extremely wide range of seed mixtures tailored for lawn seeding, some of which come pre-enriched with specialized growth enhancers. Because the composition of these mixtures ultimately determines their price, setting the correct dosage is critical to prevent costly waste and performance loss.

To address this, ELIET engineered a high-precision sowing unit that allows you to regulate the seed flow with extreme accuracy. We have conducted extensive testing and simulations using the industry’s best-selling grass seed mixtures to map out these rates. The calibration results are displayed across a series of clear diagrams, helping you easily select the perfect seed outlet setting for your specific blend.

For ultimate precision, ELIET also provides a built-in calibration feature. By using an included seed container, you can easily measure and verify the exact distribution rate during a brief test run before you begin working the lawn.

SHAKER

The grass seed is distributed with extreme precision directly above the freshly cut slits. To prevent wind drift from blowing the seed away, the distribution nozzles are positioned as close to the ground as possible. Even with this close proximity, some seeds may land slightly off-target. To address this, an ingenious system of shaking strips gently vibrates the remaining seeds directly into the slits, ensuring that every grain finds its mark and zero seed is wasted.

CASTOR

The impressive front castor wheel was specifically added to maximize machine maneuverability. At turning points, the overseeder lifts electrically, shifting the unit’s weight so it rests entirely on this castor. This design grants the operator total freedom to pivot the machine effortlessly or steer it smoothly in any new direction.

HYDROSTATIC ROLLER DRIVE

The two large rollers are powered by a hydrostatic pump, providing infinitely variable ground speed control. This allows the operator to seamlessly match the working speed to the specific conditions of the soil and lawn. Additionally, each roller can be driven independently, enabling a true zero-turn radius so you can pivot in place. This exceptional maneuverability makes the machine uniquely suited for treating intricate or complex lawn layouts.

ANTI-SCALP WHEELS

The dual-function anti-scalp wheels serve as both the depth adjustment control and a terrain buffer. They maintain a perfectly consistent working depth by absorbing ground unevenness, while simultaneously pressing flat minor micro-bumps in the soil to ensure a uniform blade cut. Furthermore, the wheels act as a guide to keep the machine tracking on a strict, steady path, significantly improving overall steering and control.

DRIVE

An integrated transmission and gearbox provides four forward speeds and two reverse gears, all easily selectable directly from the operator’s position. For smooth operation and safety, a central lever mounted on the handlebar allows you to quickly engage or disengage the drive connection between the engine and the gearbox.

POWERFUL ENGINE

The overseeder is powered by a reliable 13 HP Honda GX390 engine, engineered with an integrated 2:1 reduction gearbox to significantly boost its hauling capacity and torque. Utilizing advanced Overhead Valve (OHV) technology, this modern engine delivers smooth, fuel-efficient performance and comes standard with a convenient electric starter. Additionally, the engine features a heavy-duty cartridge air filter with a built-in pre-cleaner, ensuring the machine operates flawlessly even in highly dusty conditions.

COMPACT CONSTRUCTION

Despite the complex, multi-stage operations this machine performs in a single pass, ELIET has succeeded in engineering an exceptionally compact unit. This streamlined footprint allows the machine to excel on intricate, high-end lawns where tight spaces and nimble handling are critical.

BRUSH

To ensure consistent traction, the rear rollers are continuously cleaned by an integrated brush assembly. By preventing mud and damp debris from building up on the rollers, this system eliminates tire slippage and protects the delicate turf from scuffing or tearing.
