WHEELS WITH MUD SCRAPERS

If dethatching takes place in the spring on a swampy lawn, the newly raked moss tends to stick to the wheels. This causes the machine to move up and down as it crosses the lawn, which has a clearly visible effect on the raking results. To remedy this, ELIET has fitted scrapers to the wheels of its professional dethatching machines. Any dirt that sticks to the tread is immediately cleared away.

BLADES ROTATE IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION

This traction allows ELIET to rotate the blades counter to the direction of travel without sacrificing operator comfort or control. The contra-rotation results in vastly improved material removal and collection; thatch is pulled out and thrown directly onto the collecting auger, increasing dethatching efficiency by 30%. Additionally, the extremely fine blades feature Permanently Sharp Blades™ technology, ensuring minimal damage to the turf.

ANTI-VIBRATION HEIGHT-ADJUSTABLE HANDLEBARS

The handlebar is fully height-adjustable and equipped with vibration dampers, with all controls centrally located for easy access. Thanks to its excellent weight distribution, the E450ZR is highly maneuverable, making tight turns in smaller gardens virtually effortless.

INFINITELY VARIABLE HEIGHT ADJUSTMENT

The working depth is typically 1/16 of an inch. At this depth, virtually no braking is applied to the blades, allowing them to operate at full speed and lift moss and thatch from the lawn surface. Because the blades do not cut through the roots, this greatly reduces the time required for the lawn to recover after dethatching. Accurate depth setting requires highly precise adjustability. To this end, the front wheels of the E450ZR feature an infinitely variable adjustment. This enables the exact same depth to be set across the entire blade shaft.

SELF-PROPELLED

No more pushing: the E450ZR is self-propelled! The powerful Honda GX160 5.5 hp gas engine maintains a steady pace, completely independent of the terrain. Drive traction is provided by a large 6-inch rubber roller, which simultaneously levels the ground as you move.

BLADES

The E450ZR is equipped with 54 Double Cut™ blades. These ultra-thin blades are crafted from hardened metal and spaced 5/8 of an inch apart along the shaft. They utilize our Permanently Sharp Blades™ concept, ensuring they retain their sharp edge for their entire service life.
